Dig Out Your Soul of Oasis: just enough and Brit Pop
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008
On the return of Oasis, compared to our previous advances, a question came to me: will be trivial, indistinguishable, not evolved. And eccoli to dismember any stupid conviction. Some explanations of Noel Gallagher posted on NME on the next album “Dig Out Your Soul”, we will see a more experimental, less commercial and less radio: “It will not be Britpop, no longer on that style.
It will not be a usual thing, is really exciting, three or four songs have two percussionists, and I Zak. Part of these pieces will play glam. There are individual pop. It would be incredible if anyone beyond the individual were first broadcast on radio. ”
Influences stylistic? The Stooges, The Doors, John Lennon and The Pretty Things: uao. Recall that the album will come out on October 6 and the single “The Shock Of the Lightning” will be published on September 29.
