Last week there was a head to head serratissimo and end our contest was won by “Mercy” by Duffy who has championed a handful of votes “Chasing Pavements” by Adele. Thanks for the warm participation! This time we do a nice jump back in the days of TV in black and white, and we compared two real big in our song. The challenge is between “A” (1969) presented a Sanremo by Lucio Battisti and “I am as you want me” (1966) to Mina, song that someone will (re) discovered through the recent cover of Irene Grandi.
Both pieces came out just as 45 laps. I would advise you to give a peek to the two movies vintage, after the jump. Then - if you go - back to tell us which of the two has won more.

E ‘newly released official video for “Lost,” the third single of Coldplay from the album “Viva la vida”. The clip collects images of the concert that the band Chris Martin held at the United Center in Chicago in the United States last August in front of thousands of adoring fans. The director Mat Whitecross took over the show with 8 cameras positioned in various angles the arena and mounted the collage that you can admire here at the top. Do you like? Certainly gives the idea of the size and fantastic live atmosphere that the band English as a few others managed to evoke on tour.
The video comes in perfect timing with the dates of the Italian “Viva la Vida Tour 2008″, which note will go to Bologna on September 29 and Milan the following day. We anticipate that Soundsblog not fail at the return on these pages for the live report of stage Milanese and exclusive images.

In 2005, “Bad Day” has literally made the bang, selling millions of copies worldwide and becoming a blockbuster that even today, after many years, echoes often than not and you leave listen with pleasure. Its author Daniel Powter, the Canadian 37enne turbulent past, has tried after bisse results but with much more limited when compared to quell’exploit. Despite what continues to try and sfornare stands for a new album - the third of his career-titled “Under the radar”.
First to have been able to buy the Japanese in August, then will go to bands to us Europeans and Americans between now and next January. The individual called to tow the whole work is “Next plane home,” a classic song at Powter where it is from master plan, voice and falsetto.
Not bad of its kind, certainly not innovative or even evil. Find the video after the jump, comments and opinions are welcome.

Remember the The Rasmus? That group were Finnish passenger who had a great success in Europe on horseback between 2003 and 2004 thanks to ‘album “Dead Letters” and especially thanks to the single “In The Shadow,” a real blockbuster. Later came with the album “Hide From The Sun” which draws on the sounds of the previous “Dead Letters” but that failed to minimally bisse success, the band away from high rotation radio and television.
Now the band is ready to post their seventh disc (started early and were more interesting today) titled “Black Roses” due out September 26 in Europe for Playground Music. The choice of the individual launch fell on “Living In A World Without You”, a piece that is truly difficult to find a trace of rock, summed up in a “Savane Garden” that cross the Linkin Park more melodic. After the jump we propose the official video of the song.

Remember Will Young, the winner in 2002 of the first English edition of Pop Idol? He was the founder of so many strangers suddenly exploded with a talent-show, as in the recent cases of Leona Lewis and our Giusy Ferreri. His pop cover of “Light My Fire” of the Doors was a global success and since then, with alternating fortunes, has continued to make music (and even cinema). Now back with a new album “Let it go” Out Sept. 29, in these early days of the single “Changes” immediately rose in the top ten English.
“Changes” is a classic ballatona without too many demands but still nice and style to which Young has accustomed us. Difficult to obtain even here the enormous consensus that the British have always been: We shall see. Below is the new video official.

Here in Italy we have learned to know someone for the individual who made head in radio and on MTV, but have never quite exploded. In the United Kingdom and in many other countries, however, are a real institution in pop, have sold millions of records and rankings climbed in the 4 corners of the world. From Japan to New Zealand, from the Philippines to Macedonia, the Sugababes have managed to carve out their space in10-year career and succeed (despite several changes of training and periods of crisis) to make a rare thing in the panorama of boybands : Survive more than a season.
The Oct. 20 issue on the label Island / Universal album of the new study “Catfights and Spotlights”, driven by the single “Girls” in a follow you can find the video. The girls have called this work “most of the previous dark, surprising, yet another turning musical career.”

At the last edition of “Friends” the boys sang “One thousand ce la ago.” In a reality have it done (then we want to understand how much) and his name is Marco Charter, but the horizon seems to approach a new post-hurricane reality after Giusy Ferreri, put under contract by major “Sony BMG” We are speaking of “Matisse”, a group of 4 boys made up Fabio (vocals) and Robert (under “rap”), both alumni of the National Mary, and Vincenzo (batteries) and Francis (piano / keyboards). This is not a new and simple boy band because the guys really seem to get well, writing and producing songs with their own hands.
The result is all things good, although many will storch the nose because their sound is reminiscent of what dell’onnipresente Timbaland, despite this are like a lot, because even hear a thing of its kind in Italian great pleasure. In any case, the new band seems to have recovered so successful because just visit their Myspace to understand that the people of the Internet really appreciates them both.
Are you curious? Well: beccatevi their first video shoot for the song “How can you” from a few days on votabile Trl (MTV).

A few years ago announced his return to the world screaming “I’m bringing sexy back”. Then he disappeared (you say) with his latest single “LoveStoned (I think she knows).”
If someone was starting to despair because of the lack of Justin Timberlake you announce that your sentences are to end because it seems that the girlfriend of Jessica Biel (which as mentioned above seems to be working to prepare even an album of original) is organizing the return on its music scene, even if in small steps.
We had a first taste cone on “Fashion Rocks” in which he performed in fantastic and sensational duets with Mary J Blige, Kid Rock and Beyonce (of which you show the video at the end of post), demonstrating again that all the talent there is. And there’s more.
In network run several rumors that they would like our JT to work on a new disc: we can not know that musical imprint or if it will once again co-produced with the prezzemolino Timbaland (you ever heard?).
