Rieccoci the contest between songs. Last week we were left with the challenge “hourly” which saw “For an hour of love” in the version of Antonella Ruggiero feat. Subsonic crush the “Happy hour” of Ligabue. Today we risk another foregone conclusion - but it’s a game and anything can happen - and taking advantage of the launch of the new site with the history of video MTV, we challenge two songs that deal with the famous network TV.

On the one hand, ironically the first video broadcast on music channel, namely “Video Killed The Radio Star” by The Buggles (published in 1979 and then inserted the disc The Age of Plastic 80).

As announced in expenditure record this week, came the new (big) single of Isis: “Not in Rivers, But in Drops”, the song contained in the “In the Absence of Truth” which now goes back to two years ago. The Isis, along with Cult Of Luna and Neurosis form the triangle of the wonders of “post-metal”, usually powerful, atmospheric, monolithic, structured and that Apocalyptic borrows the lesson of post-rock as the Tool.

“If I Were A Boy” by Beyonce arrives at the third step of the “Billboard Hot 100″ after just two individuals to TI. In fact all the bang we expected directly to the first position, but certainly we can not complain especially because it was able to undermine the summit Britney Spears with her “Womanizer.” Meanwhile our “Sasha Fierce” (alter-ego by Beyonce) is beginning to think about the next two individual excerpts from his new job record:

the choice fell on “Halo”, pop ballad that seems that the plan has a predominant role , And “Ego”, an uptempo R & B flavor oldschool.

Soon at the new Fleurs 2 (Nov. 14) and Franco Battiato has already planned a new tour that the long end of January to April in the lead lap for Italy. First, however, held a concert in Rome for the FAI, Dec. 12 at the Teatro dell’Opera.

With him on tour we will be faithful Manlio Sgalambro vocals, piano Guaitoli Carlo, Angelo Privitera on keyboards and programming and Davide Ferrario to guitars.

In July, there had announced the return of Grace Jones and now, with a few days late compared with the first releases, finally comes the new album “Hurricane”, leaving in our stores Nov. 7. The preview of the songs has been entrusted to Capital Radio that will hear Monday afternoon for the whole week. Meanwhile it emerged from a po ‘video of the first single “Corporate Cannibal” that there had still shown, can be found after the jump.

E ‘released a new video of the single “Superamore” by Gigi D’Alessio, the first extract from the disc “That’s me” released last week. If the faces of the players there are new, you probably recognized the sympathetic Andrea De Rosa (Night before the exams) and conturbante Crisula Stafida (Black Bifamiliare).

The director is Gaetano Morbioli, already struggling with clips of Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Francesco Renga, and many others.

The former “Lizzie McGuire” has really grown and now our Hilary Duff is preparing to enter the nell’olimpo star with a second Greatest Hits, in just 3 years, titled “Best of Hilary Duff” (there was really need ?). The individual will accompany this new job will be “Reach Out” (feat. The Prophet), Song already known to many thanks to Jamelia that a few years ago brought us with the title of “Beware Of The Dog.”

Also has an online music video clip, directed by Philip Andelman, taste very “marriage” and ready to bring attention on ex Pupillo of Disney.

Katy Perry and colleagues are warned! The Papa Roach have always been fashionable and fairly “furbetti.” Their most popular album, “Infest”, came out in full was Crossover / Nu Metal and scale through individual rankings as “Between Angels and Insects” and their biggest success, “Last Resort”, sold millions of copies.

With the Nu Metal movement now to the last breath, in the heart of the band check love for the cliches dell’hard rock’80s and the melody, turning their sound in a rock ipertamarro with a look quite similar to today is considered “emo”.

Change of direction for the return of Craig David. Contrary to what we have anticipated a few days ago, the first single taken from Greatest Hits of the singer will no longer be “Insomnia” but, fortunately, “Where’s Your Love” (feat. Rita Time and Thincy Styder) of which you can see after skipping the video official. Perhaps our prayers have been answered.

This song is a breath of fresh air in a music scene that has lately flattened on the same sounds. Despite the new element must also say however that this piece shows the great Craig to a sound that has marked the beginning of his career. Nice move! Unfortunately, the video is pretty meager, and we hope very much that the song might suffice to bring the artist in the highest floors.
