The Little Joy is the band that Fabrizio Moretti has put up with Rodrigo Amarante Bink Shapiro and when it is paused by The Strokes. Moretti and Rodrigo Amarante, Brazilian and member of the group indie-rock Los Hermanos, were known to a Portuguese festival and decided to work together after it has collaborated with Devendra Banhart. Bink Shapiro, however, from what I understand, is the new flame of the drummer.

I know that for the first draw up lists of best band of a certain period or a certain place is a job, if not useless, at least one least arbitrary. Even this list is not immune from the very thing but I think interesting because it is dedicated to the music of New York. And we all know what has been and continues to be the Big Apple nerve center both in influence and music production.
The list is drawn from the New York Press a weekly that is credited as the main competitors of the Village Voice.

Although his latest album is out for over a year Feist continues to sfornare music videos as if nothing had happened. But this time forget the ballet or fireworks because the atmosphere of this video is decidedly less festaiola. Responsible, or because a second opinion, even the song. Honey Honey is a song from soft and delicate melody.

Surely the ce I’m From Barcelona will remember them as one of the best things exits from these years, why are the summa, a small bignami of happy unconsciousness indie pop that Sweden has given us. Allegri, childish, naive, able to turn a concert into a party stramba colored, so the band became known with their first “Let me introduce my friends.”
Two years after the super - we speak of 29 fixed - back with yet another gem, and the courage to look beyond the simple melodies made by bells and ukulele. The boy is growing quite well, but begins to get the first questions or perhaps the first small pains have damped the enthusiasm child. Certainly, in this “Who Killed Harry Houdini” there are hymns to happiness pop:

Bon Iver is the fictitious name that hides Justin Vernon. Hides to tell the truth a story some ‘detail: left the group (the unknown DeYarmond Edison) and the girlfriend. So to overcome depression chooses solitude: retires in Wisconsin and writes. He writes and sings with a lyrical magic and desperate: a po ‘Antonony Hegarty, a po’ Neil Young.
Public only a disc titled For Emma, Forever Ago that within months ending in hand and ears of the American record Jagjaguwar republish the same amount and in those of 4AD which distributes in Europe.
Now even the pages of Myspace Transmission can see and hear a live targato Bon Iver, recorded specially for the occasion, and download a free song ep From the extracts. But you should also do a jump on his myspace page and give the magic un’ascoltata Skinny Love.

It can be from one moment to finish all be pop stars hype and become a sort of singer-songwriter all strings and orchestrations of great taste? It seems you can, if your name is Alex Turner and with the leadership of James Ford production, half of Simian Mobile Disco, steps from the Arctic Monkeys to The Last Shadow Puppets.
To me the draft Alex Turner and Miles Kane likes decidedly including video which are directed by Richard Oyade. The last video excerpt from the first album The Age Of The Understatement out for Domino and candidate for the Mercury Prize is this My Mistakes Were Made For You. The video, if you like nebbiose walks in the night, after the link.

The August 25 was released in the UK the single “See you again,” version remixed by Rock Mafia for the new album Miley Cyrus “Breakout”, leaving the first in the UK in September. This is a remix absolutely in line with the euro style dance like that both in England and here snobbiamo widely.
Manco to say the disc in America (there is out July 22) reached the summit of the Billboard Top 200 debut in the week and not exist to believe that can happen in England. I remember the guests that his music is well produced visibly so maniacalmente trade. It ‘a machine eats well-oiled money. Do not seen for some time. Why to do pop are all capable, but to be viral so there should be efforts inhuman. To you the video of “See you Again”.

Lykke Li is a talented and exciting starlette dell’indie European pop. It is from Sweden and has just over 22 years. Despite his young age has published a disc, Youth Novels on LL Records, produced by Björn Yttling, the trio Peter Bjorn and John, and has played in the most important music festivals a little ‘everywhere around the world.
Unlike other things come from Sweden you are good at skill mix with the construction dell’indie classic pop beat with interesting, handclapping and a beautiful voice soft. I like a lot and you have to say the truth, not only musically speaking. Breaking It Up is the latest video, directed by Sarah Chatfield, extracted from Youth Novels and shows it in all its sfrontata sensuality. Ah, and of course in one of the best songs of the album.

There are influences of the Vampire Weekend. The last single was called Oxford Comma and was dedicated in some way in the grammar better educated, this new single that is called Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa does not hide a derivation. at least in name the African Union.
The song was inserted by Rolling Stone to 67 among the 100 greatest songs of 2007. The song, in fact, like many other quartet of New York which was known at Columbia University and has produced the first disk XL after graduation mixing sounds and rhythmic structures dell’indie African-American pop classic.
Special mention also for video directed by Richard Ayoade: the classic’80s teen movie where the end for once the goth dressed in black rather than the entire bulletto gelatin and clothes fluo.
